3、ntionbecauseoftheirsuperiorcharacteristics.Traditionalcementedtungstencarbidesusuallycontain330wt%binderphase.Inthispaper,WCwithlowCoconcentrationlessthan3wt%isstudiedusingtraditionalpowdermetallurgy.ThebinderphasehastremendouseffectonsinterabilityofWC.Highsinterabilityandhighhardnesscan
4、beachievedfortheWC(0.7m)with0.5wt%Co.Abnormalgraingrowth(AGG)isoftenobservedinsinteringWCwithsmallamountofCo.ItseemsthatAGGisaffectedbytheconcentrationofCoandarangeofCoconcentrationsmayexistforthelargeamountofAGG.Tocontrolthegrainsize,VCisaddedtoinhibitthegraingrowthofWC.Itisobservedtha
