2、ICZTechnicalUniversityofGdarisk,W-952Gdafisk,PolandAbstract-Resultsarcpresentedofacomparisonofpolarizationandimpedanceinvestigationsofconductivecompositesbasedonethylene-propylene-diene-monomer(EPDM).Thesecompositesareassignedasthematerialfortheproductionofpolymericanodes.Ithasbeensh

3、ownthatanodicpropertiesofthecompositesdepend,amongstothers,onthetypeandamountofadmixedcarbonblack.Electrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy(EIS)hasbeenproposedforthedeterminationofelectricalandelectrochemicalpropertiesofpolymericcomposites.Choiceofelectricalequivalentcircuitandanalysisofo

4、btainedspectraallowthedeterminationoftheresistanceofthecompositeandtheresistanceoftheanodicprocessoccurringonthesurfaceofthepolymer.EIScanbeusedininvestigationsofconductivepolymericcompositesdevelopedforcathodicprotectionneeds.INTRODUCTIONAnumberofanodicmaterialsarebeingusedinimpress

5、edcurrentcathodicprotection.Theyarecharacterizedbyvariousstabilityandcurrent-carryingcapacities.1Inthemid-eightiesinformationwaspublishedontheapplicationofflexiblepolymercableanodesincathodicprotectioninstallations.Theyaremanufacturedintheformofacablecontainingacoppercore,surroundedb

6、yapo1ymer.2-Theywerefirstappliedinthecathodicprotectionofreinforcedconcretestructures.4Ithasbeenstatedthattheseanodescanbeusedtogoodeffectfortheprotectionofundergroundpipes.Theyensureauniformdistributionofpolarizingcurrentandtheydonotinterferewithneighbouringstructures.Effortshavebee
