2、ieškaAbstractInternationalcompetitivenessofnationsandcompaniesisdiscussed.Itwasfoundthatcompetitionintensitycanbedescribedbythesemainfactors:marketsharesdistribution,marketrateofgrowth,marketprofitability.Thefirstfactor–marketsharesdistribution–isanalyzedbyusingm
3、athematical-statisticalmethods,Stackelbergmarketclassificationandgraphicsmarketsharesinterpretation.Thesecondfactor–marketrateofgrowth–canbeexplainedinsuchway:whenmarketrateofgrowthhigher,thenmarketcapacityisbigger,andcompetitionisnotsohigh,andviceversa.Anotherwa
4、yfortheevaluationofthesecondfactorcanbetheconceptofdemandforproductlifecycle.Thethirdfactor–marketprofitability–canbeexplainedinsuchway:whenmarketprofitabilityishigher,thensellerscangethigherprofitandthismeansthatcompetitionofthismarketbecomeshigher.Maksvytienė,I
5、.andUrbana’s,J.(2001)inthearticle“StructureandPowersofaCompetitiveAbilityModelofanEnterprise”writethataconceptionofcompetitionisestimatedandtheconclusionismadethatitdoesnotcorrespondtothecontentofpresenteconomy.Theanalysisshowedthattherearetwoconceptionsofthephen
