2、iniaABSTRACTTheelderlypeople,65yearsoldandabove,aregrowinginSideeffectsofdyspneaandhypotensionweredocumentedinnumber.Thestructuralandfunctionalchangesassociatedonlytwopatients,bothintheelderlycohort.Themainindica-withagingplacetheelderlyatriskwhenchallengedbyextra-tionforTPEi
3、ntheelderlywasglomerulonephritis(GN)ascorporealtherapies,suchastherapeuticplasmaexchangecomparedwithrenalallograftrejectionintheyoungercohort,(TPE).Weretrospectivelyanalyzeddataonallpatientswhowithatrendtowardmoredeathintheelderly(p=0.07).TheunderwentTPEforrenalindicationsato
4、urinstitutionmultivariableregressionmodelwhichincludedageasabetweenJanuary1,2000andJune30,2010andcomparedcategory,serumalbumin,andinitialserumcreatininewererenalindicationsandmortalityassociatedwiththeuseofTPEunabletopredictmortalityinthisgroupofpatients.Inourinolderversusyou
5、ngerpatients.Duringthisperiod,621experience,themainrenalindicationsforTPEinelderlyarepatientsunderwent4722sessionsofTPE.Ofthem,191differentfromthoseforyoungerpatients,withGNbeingthepatientswereelderly(30.7%)andtheyunderwent1289mostcommonrenalindicationintheelderly.TheTPEuseds
6、essions(27.3%)ofTPE.Atotalof104patients(16.7%)forrenalindicationsintheelderlyisrelativelysafe.Trendsunderwent593sessionsofTPEbecauseofrenal-relatedindi-towarddeathintheelderlymaybemultifactorialandnotcations:26patientsintheelderlygroupand78intheyounger.necessarilyrelatedtoTPE
7、.Therapeuticplasmaexchange(TPE)isaformofOverallmortalityrelatedtotheprocedureoccursinapheresisthatinvolvestheremovalofcomponents,0.05%oftreatments(5).suchaspathogenicantibodiesviaaplasmafilteroraGenitourinarysystemindicationsconstitute2.4–7%centrifuge,andthereturnofnonpathogen
