3、—Thetemperatureriseduringbonedrillingprovidesaforcemayreducethecorticaltemperaturesandtheirdurationusefulindexforevaluatingtheriskofpotentialdamagetotheoabove50C.Theresultsalsoshowedthatthetemperaturebone.Thisstudyusesadynamicelastic-plasticfiniteelementdifferencebetweenthemeasurementpositionx=0

4、.5andx=2.0modeltosimulatethethermalcontactbehaviorofadrillbitowhiledrillingthroughbone.Simulationsareperformedtommfromtheedgeofthedrilledholewasabout9C.TheinvestigatetherespectiveeffectsofthedrillingspeedandtheresultsinvestigatedbyAugustinetal.[6]showedthattheappliedforceonthetemperatureriseindu

5、cedwithinthebone.increaseindrilldiameteranddrillspeedcausedincreaseinTheresultsindicatethatthetemperatureriseisreducedbyabonetemperature.DavidsonandJames[7]developedahigherdrillingspeedandanincreasedappliedforce.Basedonthermo-mechanicalequationtopredictheatgenerationduetothenumericalresults,anem

6、piricalequationisproposedtodrillingandwerecoupledwithaheattransferfiniteelementestimatethepeakbonetemperaturegiventhevaluesofthesimulationtopredictthetemperatureriseintheboneduringappliedforceandthedrillingspeed.Themaximumdifferencedrilling.betweenthepeakbonetemperaturespredictedbytheproposedIne
