3、edtopromotemaximumindependenceandimprovequalityoflife.WhatisRelatedService?Relatedservicesaresupportservicesforspecialeducationandarenotinstructionalservices.Theyarethoseservicesnecessaryforthestudenttomakeprogresstowardtheidentifiedinstructionalgoals.Relatedservicesmayincludeoccupationalthera

4、py,physicaltherapy,musictherapy,assistivetechnology,counseling,andtransportation.Thelawdoesnotrequirethatsuchservicesbeprovided.Rather,thelegaldutytoprovidearelatedservicearisesonlywhenwithouttheservicethechild’seducationalprogramwouldbecomelessthanappropriate,i.e.,whenthechildwouldnotbenefitf
