6、entorinjureanairplaneorairportpersonnel.Theresultingdamageisestimatedtocosttheaerospaceindustry$4billionayear.SincetheAirFranceConcordetragedyinJuly2000,asequenceofeventstriggeredbya16inchmetalstripontherunway,therehasbeenconsiderableincreasedinterestinimprovedtechniq
