4、aincharacteristics.InthisthesistheRationalFractionPolynomial(RFP)Method,thePronyorComplexExponentialMethod(CEM),theIbrahimTimeDomain(ITD)Method,andHilbertEnvelopeMethodareusedtoevaluatehowtheaccuracyofthedampingratioisaffectedwithrespecttovariousparametersandconditions.Theinve

5、stigationfocusesintheestimationofdampingratiobecauseamongthemodalparameters,itisthemostdifficulttomodel.EachmethodisevaluatedindividuallyinordertounderstandhowthedampingratioestimationisaffectedwithrespecttoeachmethodwhenthecharacteristicsoftheFRFarechanged.Also,theyarecompare

6、dtoshowthat,ingeneral,theRationalFractionPolynomialMethodisamorereliablemethodthantheothermethods.Toinvestigatethis,asimulatedanalyticaldataandanexperimentaldataareprocessedtoestimatethemodalparameters,butfocusinginthedampingratio.Forthesimulatedanalyticaldatathedampingratio’s
