3、blished30November2005.[1]Thepaperpresentsanewgridpointglobalgeneralcirculationmodel(GCM)fortheMartianatmospherewiththeverticaldomainextendingfromthesurfaceintothelowerthermosphere(around130km).Themodelcontainsthecomprehensivephysicalparameterizationsrelevanttothisa
4、ltituderange,includinganovelCO215mmbandradiationschemeforthenon-LTE.Theperformanceofthemodelisshowninthezonalmeanfieldssimulatedforseveralseasons.ThecomparisondemonstratesagoodagreementwiththetemperaturemeasurementsbytheThermalEmissionSpectrometerbelow40kmandanover
5、allagreementwiththeresultsfromotherMartianGCMs.Themodelwasusedtodemonstratethattheglobalmeridionaltransportduringsolsticesisforcedprimarilybyeddiesandthattheabilityofthemodeltosimulatethewinterpolarwarmingdependsontheabilitytoresolvethelongitudinaldisturbances,both
