2、n’sequationsareobtained:thefirstclasscorrespondstotheminimalcoupling,thesecondonetotheconformalcoupling.Oneofthesolutionsisshowntodescribeaformationofablackholeinacosmologicalsetting.Somepropertiesofthissolutionaredescribed.Therearetwokindsofeventhorizon

3、s:ablackholehorizonandcosmologicalhorizons.Thecosmologicalhorizonsarenotsmooth.ThereisamildarXiv:gr-qc/9409020v311Sep1994curvaturesingularity,whichaffectsextendedbodiesbutallowsgeodesicstobeextended.Itisalsoshownthatthereisacriticalvalueforaparameteronwh

6、w[1].Bothofthemyieldtheexistenceofregionsinthespace–timewherematterhastransplanckianenergies.ItisclearthatclassicalGeneralRelativitycannotbeextrapolatedthere.Whattheorydescribestheearlystageoftheevolutionofouruniverseandthefinalstageofthegravitationalcol

7、lapse?WillthenotionsofspaceandtimesurviveinafuturetheoryofQuantumGravityatall?Ormorespecifically:whatisleftafterablackholehasevaporatedandwhatwasbeforetheBigBang?Thesequestionsareamongthemostfundamentalissuesincontemporarytheoreticalphysics.Yet,therearem
