6、alof95876cytologyrecordswith2226linkedhistologyrecordsfromwomenbornbetween1January1988and30September1993wereassessed.Womenborninorafter1990wereeligibleforthenationalcatch-upprogrammeofHPVimmunisation.Theperformanceofcervicalcytologyasascreeningtestwasevaluatedusingthekeyperformanceindicatorsusedr
7、outinelyintheEnglishandScottishCervicalScreeningProgrammes(NHSCSPandSCSP),andrelatedtovaccinationstatus.Results:Significantreductionsinpositivepredictivevalue(16%)andabnormalpredictivevalue(63%)forCIN2andthemeancolposcopyscore(18%)wereobserved.Asignificantincrease(38%)inthenumberofwomenwhohadtobe
