4、toprepareglass–ceramicshasbeendevelopedinRussia,byemployingslagofferrousandnon-ferrousmetallurgy,ashesandwastesfromminingandchemicalindustries[2].Lately,thewasteofcoalcombustionash,flyashandfilterdustsfromwasteincinerators,mudfrommetalhydrometallurgy,passcementdust,differenttypeso

5、fsludgeandglassculletormixturesofthemhavebeenconsideredfortheproductionofglass–ceramics[3–7].Usingwastetoprepareglass–ceramicsissignificantforindustrialapplicationsaswellasforenvironmentprotection[8]Theconventionalapproachestosinterglass–ceramicsusuallyincludetwosteps:firstvitrify

6、ingrawmaterialsatahightemperature(1300–15008C)andthenfollowinganucleationandcrystalgrowthstep.Thedisadvantageoftheconventionalrouteisthatitisdifficulttovitrifytherawmaterialsandthehighenergyconsumptioninthisstep.Analternativemanufacturingmethodtoproducesinteredglass–.ceramics,inwh

7、ichsinteringandcrystallizationoffineglasspowderstakeplacesimultaneously,hasrecentlybeenreported[9].Insuchroutefineglasspowdersarepressedandsintered,andthecrystallizationoccurswithdensification.However,thisroutealsoneedsashorttimetovitrifyrawmaterialsathightemperatureforpreliminary
