4、oftheseaareaofabout3,000,000squarekilometers.Developmentandutilizationofmarinemineralresourcesofourcoastalwaters,andtheprotectionofthemarineenvironmentisofgreatsignificancetoChina'ssocialandeconomicdevelopment.1DevelopmentstatusquoofChina'smarinemineralresourcesMarinemineralresourc
5、esinthebroadestsense,includingseabedmineralresourcesandmineralresourcesseawater,marinemineralresourcesgenerallyrefersonlytoseabedmineralresourcesandmineralresourcesintheseawaterisclassifiedasamarinechemicalresources.Marinemineralresourcesinaccordancewiththeoutputareaisdividedintoth
6、ethebeachplacerresources,seabedmineralresources,andtheOceanMineralResources.Chinahasdevelopedmarinemineralresources,includingoil,naturalgas,coastalsands,andOceanMineralResources,gashydrateexploration.MorecoastalplacerspeciesinChina,hasfoundthatmorethan60kinds,estimatedgeologicalres
