2、tendedmaintenanceshouldbeperformedatsemi-annualorannualintervals.Again,thiswillvary.Winterizationofasystemmayberequiredforvesselsstoredoroperatinginextremelycoldclimates.Astheseitemsareperformedovertime,eachvesselwilldevelopitsown"MaintenanceSchedule"6.1.1RoutineMaintenanceThewater

3、strainersandthru-hullfittingsmustbeinspectedandcleanedregularlytoprovidesufficientwaterflowthroughthechiller'scondensercoil.Obstructedwaterflowwillcausecompressorstooperateathigherpressures,temperaturesandamperagescausingexcessivewearoninternalcompressorcomponentsandpossiblenuisanc

4、etrippingonthepressureswitches.·Strainerbasketsshouldbeemptiedandinspectedformarinegrowthonthebasketwall.Thisshouldberemovedpriortoreinstallation.·Anysilt,sandormarinedebrisshouldberemovedfromthestrainerhousing.Thechilledwatercirculationcircuitmustbefilledcompletelywithwater.Airint

5、hecircuitwillinhibitperformanceandcausepossiblenuisancetrippingoftheflowswitches.Returnwaterpressureshouldbeapproximately12psigwhileincoolmodeandwhenthesystemisoff.Returnwaterpressuremaygetashighas20psiginheatmodeduetowaterexpansion.Dischargewaterpressureshouldbe25-30psigwhilethesy

6、stemisrunning.Systemswithoutgaugesmustrelyonlackofcoolingorheatingfromtheairhandlers,oraudiblenoiseinthepipestodeterminethatairexistsinthecircuit.Returnairfiltersforeachairhandlermustbeinspectedandcleanedregularlytoprovidesufficientairflowthrougheachunit.Obstructedairflowwillcausep
