1、AbstractThetrafficdockingbetweencentralcityandthesecondarycitiesinaregionhassignificantpracticalsignificance.Itplaysanimportantroleintheprocessofoveralldevelopmentofthewholeurbanagglomerationarea.Thistheorycomesfrombigcitiesanditssatellitecities.Atpresent,Chinesemostareas’urbanag

2、glomerationsub-centerandsatellitecityhaveaslowdevelopment.Theycannotsharethecentercitypopulationandindustrypressureeffectivelyandtheyhavenoinfluenceoncentercity’sspacereasonableextension.OneofmainreasonsisTransportinfrastructureconstructionbetweensub-centerandsatellitecityandcent

3、ercityislaggingbehind.Itaffectsthestrengthofassociationofthewholeurbanagglomerations’development.(HualanWang,2006)[21].Trafficfactorshasbecomeanimportantfactorwhichmustbeconsideredwhensub-centercitiesandsatellitecitiesareplannedandconstructed.UnderthebackgroundofChangsha-Zhuzhou-

4、Xiangtancitygroupwasapprovedtobetheresource-conservingandenvironment-friendlysocietyconstructioncomprehensivereformexperimentalzonebyTheStateCouncilinNovember2007,theauthorregardsLiuyangcityasthesecondarycenterofChangsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtancitygroupduetoitsimportantfunctions.Itcanno

5、tonlyevacuatechangzhutancorearea’spartialfunctionandtransittransferfunction,butcanalsoreducethestressonresourcesandenvironment.Besides,itcanexpandanddevelopitsownindustryandthefunctionwiththehelpofindustryandthefunctionofChangsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtancitygroup.Liuyangcity’sdevelopment

6、hasgreatinfluenceonthedevelopmentofchangzhutanurbanagglomerations.WecanimproveLiuyangcity’sexternaltrafficdevelopmentlevelandsolvetheactualproblemofliuyang'straffic.What’smore,wecanintegratethecomprehensivetransportationresourcesadvantageandpromoteregionaleconomicdevelopmentin"do
