1、information,thispaperproposesachannelestimationmethodbasedonextendedKalmanfiltering(EKF).Onthebasis,consideringthatwirelesschannelscanshowthenonlinearcharacteristics,thispaperappliesanonlinearsignalprocessingmethodwhichiscalledunscentedKalmanfiltering(UKF)tothechann

2、elestimationfield.ThusthispaperproposesachannelestimationmethodbasedonUKF.ComputersimulationsprovethattheBERandMSEperformanceofUKFbasedchannelestimationmethodoutperformstheotherchannelestimationmethods.High-speeddatatransmissioninwirelesscommunicationspotentiallyres

3、ultsinasparsemultipathfadingchannel.Thesignificanttapsapproachcanbeusedtogreatlyimprovetheperformanceofthechanneltimeresponse.Inthethesis,anadaptivesignificant-tap-catchingmethodbasedonmultipathsearchisproposed.CombinedwithbasedUKFchannelestimation,thesimulationBERa

4、ndMSEperformanceindicatesthatadaptivesignificant-tap-catchingmethodisbetterthanfixedsignificant-tap-catchingmethod.Meanwhile,thecomputationcomplexitydecreasedalot.ThenthecarrieroffsetisresearchedinOFDMsystemandbasedUKFcarrieroffsetestimationmethodisproposed.Thesimul

5、ationperformanceindicatesthemethodhasexactedestimationperformanceandtheIVbandwidthefficiencyishigherthanSCmethodandMLEmethod.ThethesisadaptedthebasedUKFchannelandcarrieroffsetjointestimationinMIMO-OFDMsystemwhichhascarrieroffsetandmultipatheffect.Thesimulationperfor

6、mancedemonstratedthemethodcanestimatethechannelinformationandcarrieroffsetatthesametime.ChannelestimationandcarrieroffsetestimationarekeytechniquesinMIMO-OFDMcommunicationsystem.Thethesisdidsomeworkondecreasingchannelestimationcomputationcomplexity,enhancingthepreci
