5、Existence,LifeandIntellect.Previously,Plotinushadappliedasimilarterminology,namelyBeing,LifeandMind,todescribethethreeprincipalaspectsofthesecondofhisthreehypostases,Intellect.[2]Earlierstill,accordingtoDamascius(DubitationesetSolutiones61&221=1.131,17&2.101,25Ruelle),theChaldae
6、anOraclesalsoappliedtheExistence,LifeandIntelligenceterminologytotheprincipaltranscendententitiesofthatsystem.Betweenthehighestprinciple,thePaternalMonad(equatedwithExistence),andthedivineIntellect,theyinterposedamedianprincipletheycalledHecate.ThisHecatetheyequatedwiththeproces
