5、echnologiesanditdoesnotguaranteetherequirementsoffutureinformationtransmission.SoftwareDefinedNetwork(SDN)isanewnetworkparadigmwhichchangethearchitectureofcurrentdistributednetworkintocentralizedcontrolarchitectureandthisconcepthasusedtochangethearch

6、itectureoftraditionalsatellitenetworkintoSoftwareDefinedSatelliteNetwork(SDSN).ThisresearchfocusesondeploymentofOpenFlowprotocolandpresentsanovelthree-planesarchitectureofSDSN.TheproposedSDSNmodelofthisworkisacombinationofsatellitesandgroundstationsa

7、nditisdividedintothreeplanes:Dataplane,ControlplaneandManagementplane.Thesatellitenetworkisapartofthedataandcontrolplaneswhilethegroundstationsisapartofthemanagementplane.LowEarthOrbit(LEO)satellitesresideindataplanefordataforwardingfunctionandGeosta

8、tionaryEarthOrbit(GEO)satellitesresideincontrolplaneforcontrollingthewholenetwork.WeconsidertwoseriousissuesfacedbySDSN.ThefirstissueisthelimitedresourcesofTernaryContentAddressableMemory(TCAM)inSDSNduetowhichconnectionofmoreuserstonetworkisdifficult
