4、edperformancewhileminimizingitscost.Thispaperwillexaminethemostcommonstartingmethodsandtheirrecommendedapplications.I.INTRODUCTIONThereareseveralgeneralmethodsofstartinginductionmotors:fullvoltage,reducedvoltage,wyes-delta,andpartwindingtypes.Thereducedvoltagetypecanincludeso
5、lidstatestarters,adjustablefrequencydrives,andautotransformers.These,alongwiththefullvoltage,oracrossthelinestarting,givethepurchaseralargevarietyofautomotiveswhenitcomestospecifyingthemotortobeusedinagivenapplication.Eachmethodhasitsownbenefits,aswellasperformancetradeoffs.P
