3、stem(SAS).ButbecauseoftheincompatibilitybetweentheusednetworkandcommunicationProtocols,TheIEDsindifferentmanufacturerswhichareintegratedinasubstationsystemneedtransforilltheprotocols,Thesecanincreasethecostandcomplexityofthesystem,reducethesystem’sreliabi
4、lity.Consequently,manufacturersandusersimminentlyhopetherelatedauthorityorganizationtodrawallunifoITastandard,theIEDsindifferentmanufacturerscallhavetheiuteroperability.Atpresent,IEC61850isthenewestnationalstandardaboutcommunicationsnetworkandsysteminsubs
5、tations.IEC61850WasworkedoutbyIECTC57,itwaspublishedindueform2005,afterseveralyears’discussion.ThemainaimaboutworkingoutIEC61850iSlettingtheIEDsindifferentmanufacturershaveinteroperabilities,theIEDsCanbeintegratedintoasystemconveniently.First,thispaperint
6、roducesthedevelopingbackgroundandresearchingactualityofIEC61850,thenanalysestheSCLobjectmodel,describestheIED’Sconfigurationmanagementfromthethreelaysofsubstations.Finally,thepaperintroducesthe“plugandplay'’monitoringsysteminsubstationindetail.SASCanaddau
7、torecognitionmoduleandremoteconfigurationmodule,afterthedevicesaleinstalledinpartitionlay,theworkstationanddispatchingsystemautoupdate,enterthenewdevice’Sinformation,gettheprotectionsettingvalueandotherparametersbydispatchingsystemdirectly,andconfigureitr
