2、usingPWMinverterAbstract.Therecentincreaseintheuseofspeedcontrolofacinductionmotorforvariablespeeddriveusingpulsewidthmodulation(PWM)inverterisduetotheadventofmodernpowerelectronicdevicesandintroductionofmicroprocessors.Therearemanyadvantagesofusingacinductionmotorforspeedcont

3、rolapplicationsinprocessandaerospaceindustries,butduetofastswitchingofthemodempowerelectronicdevices，theparasiticcouplingproducesundesirableeffects.Theundesirableeffectsincluderadiatedandconductedelectromagneticinterference(EMI)whichadverselyaffectnearbycomputers,electronic/el

4、ectricalinstrumentsandgiverisetotheflowofbearingcurrentintheinductionmotor.Duetotheflowofbearingcurrentintheinductionmotor，electricaldischargemachiningtakesplaceintheinnerraceofthebearingwhichreducesthelifeofthebearing.Inhighpowerconvertersandinverters,theconductedandradiatede

5、missionsbecomeamajorconcern.Inthispaper,identificationofbearingcurrentduetoconductedemission,themeasurementofbearingcurrentinamodifiedinductionmotorandtominimizethebearingcurrentarediscussed.Thestandardcurrentprobe,thestandardlineimpedancestabilizationnetwork(LISN)),theelectro
