2、ngmountain,Manhanmountain),aswellastheloesshill—gullyregion(10esshill·gullyregionofwesternLiaoningandloesshilly-gullyregionofsouthernYinshanmountain).Artem括iasacrorumcommunityisoneofthenaturalplantcommunitieswhichneedtofocusoninthevegetationrestorationofecologicallyfragil
3、ezoneintheLoessPlateau.Asoneoftheimportantgullyvegetationtype,whichhasaveryimportantroleinreducingsoilerosionandimprovingvegetationbiodiversity.Sobydeeplyinvestigatingandmeasuredcommunitycharacteristic、populationcharacteristic、rootdistributionandphysiologicalandecological
4、characteristics,wejusttriedtoprovidescientificbasisfortherationaluseofplantresources、vegetationconstructionandsoilandwaterconservationintheloesshilly—gullyregion.Themainresultsareasfollows:1.Arsenicrockmatrixhavehigherwatercontent,complexsoilmechanical,gravelandcoarsesand
5、withahigherlevel,highersoilerodibility;Loessmatrixhavelowerwatercontent,morefinesand,lowersoilerodibility.Butthesetwomatrixesarebothhighsoilerodibility.2.Artemisiasacrorumcommunityintheresearchregionaredistributedinhillyslopes、sunnyslopesandshadyslopes,butitsdistributedth
6、emostwidelyintheshadyslope.Communitiesinthearsenicrockmatrixwithhigherwatercontenthavesignificantlyhigherbiologicaldiversityandbiomassperunitareathanthatofloessmatrix,andthemorecomplextypeofcomposition.CommunitiesintwohabitatsontheCOVerishigher,theloesshabitatofabout50%,a
7、ndthearsenicrockandhillyslopeswithbettermoistureconditionsofmorethan80%.3.Artemisiasacrorumaveragebiomassesinthetwohabitatsreachmaximumintheageof7、8,andthedifferenceisnotobvious.AgestructuresofArtemisiasacrommpopulationsinthetwohabitatsarestableinthearsenicrockmatrix,andg
