3、nsethepresenceorabsenceofvehicleswithincertainrangebySimulatoristoreducethewaitingtimeofeachlaneofthecarsandsettingtheappropriatedurationforthetrafficsignalstoreactalsotomaximizethetotalnumberofcarsthatcancrossanaccordingly.Byemployingmathematicalfunctionstocalculatetheintersectiongi

4、venthemathematicalfunctiontocalculatethewaitingappropriatetimingforthegreensignaltoilluminate,thesystemcantime.helptosolvetheproblemoftrafficcongestion.HardwaresimulationtestsweresuccessfullyperformedonthealgorithmimplementedintoTheIntelligentTrafficsignalControlSystemconsistsofthree

5、aPLC(programmablelogiccontroller).importantparts.ThefirstpartisthePLCcontrollerandsecondpartishardware.Theseusuallycompriseofred,yellow,andgreenlights.ThenewtimingschemethatwasimplementedpromisesanThethirdpartisthesensor.Thesensorscheckthepresenceofimprovementinthecurrenttrafficlight

6、systemandthissystemisvehicles.feasible,affordableandreadytobeimplementedespeciallyduringpeakhours,offhoursandpedestrians.2.OVERVIEWOFPLCBASEDITCSThePLCchecksthestatusofthesensors.ThesystemThemainthemeofthisreportistobuildandverifythedesignsandresolutionisdependontheoutputprovidedbyth
