3、tchoicetopowerwhiteLEDsisaconstantcurrentsourceandtheinputvoltagerangeofaLi-IonbatteryisbeloworequaltotheLEDforwardvoltageanewpowersupplysolutionisrequired.Themainpowersupplyrequirementsarehighefficiency,smallsolutionsizeandthepossibilityofadjustingtheLEDbrightness.AcceptableEMIperformanceb

4、ecomesanadditionalfocusforportablesystemswithwirelesscapabilities.Theboostconverterisaveryattractivesolutionwhenhighefficiencyisakeycriteriafortheselectionofthepowersupply.Anotherpopularsolutionistheuseofachargepumpconverter.BothsolutionstodrivewhiteLEDsarediscussedandhowtheyrelatetothemain
