3、metricalspiritembodiedinArgyris’sworkisrevivedinthesequelinapplyingthenewlydevelopedconceptofisogeometricanalysistostructuralvibrationproblems.Afterreviewingsomefunda-mentalsofisogeometricanalysis,applicationismadetoseveralstructuralmodels,includingrods,thinbeams,membranes,andthinplates.Rotation
4、lessbeamandplatemodelsareutilizedaswellasthree-dimensionalsolidmodels.Theconceptofk-refinementisexploredandshowntoproducemoreaccurateandrobustresultsthancorrespondingfiniteelements.Throughtheuseofnonlinearparameteri-zation,‘‘optical’’branchesoffrequencyspectraareeliminatedfork-refinedmeshes.Optical
