2、rycommitteehousedundertheCaliforniaArchitectsBoard.Consistsoffivelandscapearchitects,threeofwhichareappointedbytheGovernorandoneofeachappointedbytheSenateRulesCommitteeandtheAssemblySpeaker.Receivesitsfundingthroughadedicatedfund.ArchitectsBoardPowers:A
3、dopt,amend,orrepealsuchrulesandregulationsasarereasonablynecessaryto:governtheexaminationsofapplicantsforlicensure;establishcriteriaforapprovingschoolsoflandscapearchitecture;establishrulesofprofessionalconductthatarenotinconsistentwithstateorfederallaw
4、,bywhichalllicenseesaregovernedandcontrolled;andcarryouttheprovisionsofthelawgenerally.TheArchitectsBoardmaydelegateitsauthorityunderthelawtotheLandscapeArchitectTechnicalCommitteewiththefollowingexceptions:Afterreviewofproposedregulations,theboardmayd
5、irecttheexaminingcommitteetonoticeandconducthearingstoadopt,amend,orrepealregulations,providedthattheboarditselfshalltakefinalactiontoadopt,amend,orrepealthoseregulations.Theboardshallnotdelegateitsauthoritytodisciplinealandscapearchitectortotakeaction
6、againstapersonwhohasviolatedthelaw.LATCPowers:Thecommitteemayassisttheboardintheexaminationofcandidatesforlicensureand,afterinvestigation,evaluateandmakerecommendationsregardingpotentialviolationsofthislaw;mayinvestigate,assistandmakerecommendationstoth
