4、rganizations.Weaskandvaluesthatdefinethesignificanceanduseofinforma-ifthereisawaytosystematicallyidentifyinformationtion.Byinformationuse,weareinterestedintheoutcomesbehaviorsandvaluesthatcancharacterizetheinforma-ofapplyingandworkingwithinformationasperceivedandtio

5、ncultureofanorganization,andwhetherthisculturehasaneffectoninformationuseoutcomes.Theprimaryexperiencedbymembersofanorganization.Whilewemaymethodofdatacollectionwasaquestionnairesurveyexpectinformationculturetoformavitalcomponentofanthatwasappliedtoanationallawfirm

6、,apublichealthorganization’sinformationenvironment,therelationshipagency,andanengineeringcompany.Over650personsbetweeninformationcultureandusehasnotbeenofteninthethreeorganizationsansweredthesurvey.Dataexamined.Asaninitialsteptofillthisgap,weposetheseanalysissugges

7、tsthatthequestionnaireinstrumentwasabletoelicitinformationbehaviorsandvaluesthatquestions:denoteanorganization’sinformationculture.Moreover,theinformationbehaviorsandvaluesofeachorganiza-•Isthereawaytosystematicallyidentifyinformationbehav-tionwereabletoexplain30–
