3、uredorproducedtoensurethattherequirementsaremetintermsofquantityandtime.Howtheplanningengineperformsthistaskisbeyondthescopeofthispaper.Thepurposethispaperintendstofulfilistoanalyseandexplaintheoutcome,whichtheplanningprocessgenerateseverytimeamaterialplanisrun.Thepape

4、rinterpretshowthechangeswemaketotheplanningenvironmentaffecttheoutcomeandhelpsusunderstandwhyplanningrespondsthewayitdoestothesechanges.ThePlanningDetailReport(MRRDPR)isthechosentoolwewouldbeusingextensivelytostudyandanalysethebehaviouroftheplanningengine.Thisreportisw

5、ritteninPro*Canditsoutputreflectscomprehensively,theoutcomeofanyMaterialPlanrun.SCOPE&APPLICATIONThispaperisintendedforanaudiencefamiliarwiththeplanningprocess,andinvolvedincreatingandexecutingMPSandMRPplansindiscretemanufacturing.Thecontentofthispaperisarrangedinamann
