2、iuzhaigoutoinvestigatethefield.Theteamwereextremelyimpressedbyitsnaturalbeautyandimmediatelypublishedtheirsurveysandcomments:Jiuzhaigouhasrareanimalsandrichplantresources,andmostofall,itisabeautiful"fairylandvalley".InDecember1978,theStateCouncilpromulgatedadocumen

3、t(CodeNo.256),officiallyannouncingthatfourbeltsofJiuzhaigouarelistedastheNationalNatureReserve,andanylumberingactivitieswithinthevalleysarestrictlyprohibited.In1979,theJiuzhaigouNatureReserveAdministrationwasofficiallyestablished.In1984,theStateCouncillistedJiuzhai

4、gouastheNationalKeyPlaceofScenicInterest.In1992,itwasincludedbytheUNESCOintheWorldNaturalHeritagelist.WeatherThescenicareaoftheparkissituatedataheightofbetween2,000and3,000metres.Insummerthewindsblowpredominantlyfromthesouthandinthewinterfromthenorth.Umbrellasandwe
