2、TRACTAnovelgenewaspreviouslyisolatedfromacDNAlibraryofhumanembryolungtissuebyitsen-codedprotein,whichinteractswithnon-structuralprotein10(nsp-10)ofthesevereacuterespira-torysyndromecoronavirus(SARS-CoV).Theproteinwasnamedhumanembryolungcellularpro-teininteract

3、ingwithSARS-CoVnsp-10(HEPIS),anditiscomposedof147aminoacidswithseveralCKIIphosphorylationsites.Inthepresentstudy,wedemonstratedthatHEPISwascapableofsup-pressingchloramphenicolacetyltransferase(CAT)geneexpressioncontrolledbydifferentenhancerelementsinatranscrip

4、tionassay.HEPISinteractedspecificallywiththeHSP70TATAsequence,andnotwithvariousotherenhancerelementsinabindingtest.Furthermore,weco-immunopre-cipitatedHEPISwithBTF3,acomponentoftheRNApolIIinitiationcomplex,andobservedre-ducedproliferationofHeLacellstransfected
