2、bybothparties.ThiscontractmaybeeitheraprivatecontractissuedbythesellerortheInternationalHide&SkinContract#6asissuedbytheInternationalCouncilofTanners,ofLondonEngland,andbytheInternationalCouncilofHides,Skins,andLeatherTradersAssociations,ofParisFrance,andadopt
3、edbyTheUnitedStatesHide,Skin,&LeatherAssociation.B.AverageWeight:Unlessotherwisespecified,weightsrefertoaveragenetshippingweights.Inthecaseofminimumaverageshippingweights,theactualshippingweightshouldbenotlessthanspecified,norshoulditexceedthespecifiedaverageb
4、ymorethan8%,unlessotherwiseagreedbytheparties.C.Selection:Whenmechanicallyflayedpackerorprocessor-packerhidesaresold,amaximumof20%secondgradehidesshallbeallowedintheshipment,unlessotherwiseagreedbytheparties.D.Inthecaseofhidesbeinginspectedandweighedatoriginpr
5、iortoshipmentbybuyer’srepresentativeoragent,suchinspectioninwritingisfinalandhidequalityandweightsareconsideredapprovedbythebuyer.IIStandardsForDelivery:A.Thefollowingconditionsshallapplytomechanicallyflayedpackerorprocessor-packerhides.1.Weights-Hideweightsfo
6、rinvoicingaredeterminedattimeofshipmentfrompointoforigin.2.Trim-Trimshallbeeither:a.Standardtrimforconventional(unfleshed)hides-thepartswhicharetoberemovedbeforesaltingthehidesareasfollows:1book32005.9.14,1:49PMhorns,snouts,lips,ears,tailbone,sinews,tendons.Ex
7、cessivemeatandfatshouldberemoved.Thismethodoftrimmeetstherequirementsofwhatiscommonlyknownasthe“standardhidetrim”,asshowninFigure1.Figure1StandardHideTrim-FleshSideUporb.Moderntrimforfleshedhides-hidesshouldbemachinefleshedtoremovemostfatandmeat.Fleshedhidesas
