3、heacce.ssfailureatMAClayer,routingchangeatnetworklayer,andSOon.TraditionalTCPprotocolsuseallpacketlossastheindicatorofcongestionanddecreasethesendingrateunnecessarily.Asaresult,TCPperformancedegradesinwired/wirelesshybridnetworks.MostexistingTCPprotocolsaredesignedforsomesi
4、nglenetworkcircumstances.Withrespecttohybridnetworkscomposedofheterogeneousnetworks,problemsthathowtokeeptransmissionefficiencyhavenotbeensolvedinasatisfactoryway.Consideringtheseproblems,thispaperfocusesonhowtoimproveperformanceoftransportcontrolprotocoloverwired/wirelessh
5、ybridnetworks.Themainapproachesarepacketlossesdifferentiation,congestionperceptionandcross—layerdesign.Maincontributionsofthispaperinclude:1.Presentinganadaptivelossdifferentiationalgorithmbasedonqueuemanagement,A_BQM,whichCanadptivelyadjustthemethodofmatchthelOSScharactero
6、nmidrouters.SimulationresultsshowthatA_BQMcanobtainhigherdifferentiationaccuracyandsimplerimplementthanBQM.2.Presentingacongestionperceptionmethod,CP_ECN,whichcalculatescongestionprobabilitybasedonseveralECNfeedbacks.Itcaninfernetworkstatesinamorereasonableway.Bothexamplesa
