2、Abstract:SpinsplittingofconductionsubbandsinAl0.3Ga0.7As/GaAs/AlxGa1−xAs/Al0.3Ga0.7AsstepquantumwellsinducedbyinterfaceandelectricfieldrelatedRashbaeffectsisinvestigatedtheoreticallybythemethodoffinitedifference.Thedependenceofthespinsplittingontheelectricfieldandthewellstructure,whichiscon
3、trolledbythewellwidthandthestepwidth,isinvestigatedindetail.Withoutanexternalelectricfield,thespinsplittingisinducedbyaninterfacerelatedRashbatermduetothebuilt-instructureinversionasymmetry.ApplyingtheexternalelectricfieldtothestepQW,theRashbaeffectcanbeenhancedorweakened,dependingonthewell
4、structureaswellasthedirectionandthemagnitudeoftheelectricfield.ThespinsplittingismainlycontrolledbytheinterfacerelatedRashbatermunderanegativeandastrongerpositiveelectricfield,andthecontributionoftheelectricfieldrelatedRashbatermdominatesinasmallrangeofaweakerpositiveelectricfield.Amethodto
