2、t.NeonflyingsquidOmmastrephesbatramiiiswidelydistributedintheNorthPacificOcean,whichhasbecomethemainfishingspeciesforChinesesquidjiggingfleetssince1993.Manyauthorshavemadethestudiesonthefieldsoffishinggroundanditsenvironmentconditions.However,thesquidcatchperfishingvesselattainedthehighestlevelofab

3、out550tin2004.Inthispaper,thecatchanditsdistributionin2004wouldbecomparedwiththepreviousyear.BasedonthecatchdatafromChinesesquidjiggingvesselsandseasurfacetemperaturewiththeformatofl.latitudebyl.longitudefromMaytoNovemberin2004.thedistributionmapsweredrawnbyMarineexplorer4.0.Theresultsshowthatthepr

4、oductionintheeastwatersto160.EwaslowduringMayandJuly.DuringOctoberandNovember,theproductioninthewatersfrom150.Eto160.Ewasrelativelyhigher,whichoccupied62.5percentofthetotalcatch.DuringNovember,theproductioninthewestwatersto150.Ewasalsolow.ThehighestCPUEaFealocatedinthewestwatersto150.E.thenextwasth
