2、vestigatedinthisstudytoincreasethedeepdrawabilityofaluminumsheet.Theconventionaldeepdrawingprocessislimitedtoacertainlimitdrawingratio(LDR)beyondwhichfailurewilloccur.Theintentionofthisworkistoexaminethepossibilitiesofrelaxingtheabovelimitationthroughthedeepdrawingwithinter
3、nalair-pressing,aimingtowardsaprocesswithanincreaseddrawingratio.Theideawhichmayleadtothisgoalistheuseofspecialpunchthatcanexerthighpressureontheinternalsurfaceofdeformingsheetduringthedeepdrawingprocess.OvertherangesofconditionsinvestigatedforAI-1050,thelocalstrainconcentr
4、ationatpunchnoseradiusareawasdecreasedbyinternalair-pressingofpunch,andthedeepdrawingwithinternalair-pressingwasprovedtobeveryeffectiveprocessforobtaininghigherLDR.Keywords:DeepDrawing,InternalAir-Pressing,LimitDrawingRatio(LDR),AI-10501.IntroductionAluminumalloysheetsarein
