4、stomodifycontrolcircuitrywasneeded.ThedevelopmentandtestinggroundforthisnewmeanswastheU.S.autoindustry.Thetimeperiodwasthelate1960'sandearly1970'sandtheresultwastheprogrammablelogiccontroller,orPLC.Automotiveplantswereconfrontedwithachangeinmanufacturingtechniqueseverytimeamodelchangedand,insome
