6、ary.ThisconclusionhadmajorimplicationsforbothUULandherusers.In2012UULdecidedtoshutdownthediscoverysystemOmega,custom-madeforfindingelectronicmaterialownedbyherlibrary,and–moreimportant-nottoimplementanotherlibrarydiscoveryservice.Afterninemonthsofpreparation,onSeptember1st,2013,Omegac

7、losed.RecentlyUULdecidedtocloseherownpubliclibrarycataloguetoo.Instead,sheadvisesheruserstofindtheirmaterialviaalternativegeneralorsubjectspecificdiscoverytools.Thispaperhopestoencouragelibrariestorethinkandevaluatetheireffortsondiscoveryanddelivery.Theprincipleideawhiledoingthisshoul
