3、nsomesense.Thepartiesofarbitrationliveindifferentcountries,thearbitrationinstitutionislocatedinanothercountry,andmaybethearbitratorsliveinothercountries.Allofthemhavetomeetincertainplaceatcertaintime,butitmaybeneedalongtimetomeettogether.Forinstance,ifonepartyisinChina,theotherpartyisinBrazi
4、l;thearbitratorsliveinAustralia,RussiaandtheUnitedStates.ThepartiesselectthearbitrationmitteeinStockholm,maybeChinesepartyneedsverylongtimetogetthevisa,andBrazilPartyisthesame.Thus,allofthemneedspendalongtimetostarthearinganditisobviousthathoetime,thehearinges.Insomecircumstance,inordertocor
5、rectconsequentialerrorsoftheexpediter,itmightbenecessarytosuspendthehearingission.Butsuchinterruptionaketheproceduremoreinconvenient.Theabsoluteclaimthatarbitrationisquickerthanadjudicationissimplynolongertrue.Arbitrationisstillexpensive.Thedirectcostofarbitrationmainlyincludes:(1)thearbitra
6、tor’sfee;(2)expensesforarbitratortravelandhearingroomrental;(3)thecostofsiteinspectionorexpertsappointedtoassistthearbitrator;(4)legalfee.Amongthesefees,legalfeeusuallytakesupmostpartoftheplecase,becausethelaaindependsonhouchtimetheattorneysspend.Thelongertheprocedurelasts,themorelegalfeeisc
