4、csidentifyingusashumanisourabilitytouselanguage–tomakesoundsandmarksserveassubstitutesforthingsandfeelings.Overmillionsofyears,wehaveevolvedtheanatomynecessarytoproduceandreceivesoundshavetakenonmeaningbyrepresentingthings,feelings,andideas.Thiscombina
5、tionofevolutionandculturehasledtothedevelopmentofafour-partprocessthatenablesusshareourinternalstateswithotherhumanbeings.Inshort,wecanreceive,store,manipulate,andgeneratesymbolstorepresentourpersonalizedrealities.1.2TheimportanceoflanguageLanguageisex
6、tremelyimportanttohumaninteractionbecauseitishowwereachouttomakecontractwithoursurroundings.Ifweweretosurveyanormalday,wewouldsoonseethatweusewordsforawidevarietyofpurposeswemayuselanguagewhenwefirstawake:“Goodmorning!”Weusewordsasawaytowritewiththeout
