2、ering,hotpressformingprocessofthevehiclehighstrengthsteelswasanalyzed.Thehotformingprocessinclud-ed:heatingalloysrapidlytoaustenitemicrostructures,stampingandcoolingtimely,maintainingpressureandquenching.Theresultsshowedthatmostofaustenitemicrostructurewaschangedintouniformmartensitebytheho
3、tpressformingwhilethesampleswereheatedat900。Candquenched.Theoptimaltensilestrengthandyieldstrengthwereupto1530MPaand1000MPa,respectively,andtheshapedeformationreachedabout23%.Andspringbackdefectdidnothapp-eninthesamples.Keywords:highstrengthsteel;lightweight;hotforming;martensiteAsaneffecti

5、ucethevehiclemass(Thehighandultrahighstrengthsteelcanbeusedasalternativematerialsbecauseofitsthinnerthickness);adoptingadvancedmanufacturingtechniquesforthesakeofautomobilelightwei-ght,suchasthickness-gradienthighstrengthsteel(HSS)ormetalbasedcompoundplatesbycon-tinuouspressingorhotpressfor
6、ming[1].AlthoughHSShasbeenappliedinsomedomestictopgradevehicles,thekeyproducingtechnologieshavealwaysbeendominatedbyforeigncompan-ies,suchasAcelorCompany,soastoraisetheproductcostobviously.Bydomesticself-designedhotpressformingtechniquesandwater-coolingmould,theautomobileHSScanbeproducedtos
