2、sicsofcomplexflowphenomenaaroundsubmarine.the wakefieldsarenotonlythereflectionofhydrodynamics,butalsotheoriginofthenoise. FluentasakindofCFDsoftwareareusedtosimulatethefluiddynamiccharacteristics ofthesubmarinewithnopropellerandwithpropeller.Firstly,thecoordinatetransformation formul

3、aoftransformingthelocalcoordinatesofthepointsonthesectionplaneofpropeller toglobalcoordinatewasdeduced.SuppotedbyitsfeaturesofmassinformationfromCFD calculationresults,itcanbeusedtocalculateandinvestigaterelevantpropellerperforman- ce.RuningFluenttocalculatetheopenwaterperformanceofth

4、epropeller,theresultsofitis compairedwiththetrialmeasurement.Secondly,theresistancesandflowfieldsofsubmarine modelSUBBOFFisnumericalsimulatedbysolvingRANSequations.Itindicatesthatnu- mericalimplementationsarecreditablebycomparingcomputedresultswithtrialdata.The wakeflowofsixsubmarines

5、arecalculatedtoinvestigatetheinfluenceofthischange.Third- ly,attheprmiseofaccomplishoftwopartsabove,CFDmethodisusedtopredictflowfields aroundsubmarinewithpropeller.UsingMixplanemethodandSlindingmeshmethod,-----------real propellergeometryisconsideredinthecomputation.Themethoddeveloped

6、inthepaperwill beapracticaltoolforstudingpropeller/submarineinteraction.Inthispaper,theauthornumericallysimulatestheflowfieldsandresistancesthrough FLENT,thecommercialCFDsoftware.Firstly,takingSUBOFFmainhull,aslenderbody asresearchexample,theauthorsystematicallyanalysizetheinfluenceof

7、thegridgeneration andturbulencemodelsofthenumericalmodelonthewakefieldofthemainhull,and developpreliminarynumericalsimulationmethodappliedtothewakefieldofthemainhull. Andthenbyusingthisnumericalsimulationmethod,furtherstudiesareconductedforaset ofsystematicconfigurationsonthemainhullw
