1、ApplicationNoteInvenSenseMotionSensorUniversal EvaluationBoard(UEVB)UserGuidePURPOSEThisdocumentdescribesthehardwareandcircuitryontheUniversalEvaluationBoard(UEVB).TheUEVBisusedto evaluatemostofInvenSense’scurrentmotionsensing(gyroscopes,accelerometers,magne

2、tometers)products.It coversapplyingtheUEVBtoalargersystem,andrequirestheunderstandingofkeysignalsandcircuitfunctions, hardwarejumpersettings,andportconnections.USAGEThisUEVBprovidesuptonineaxesofmotionsensingcomprisedof: •Digital-outputof3-axisgyroscopewithu

3、ser-programmablefull-scaleranges •Digital-outputof3-axisaccelerometerwithuser-programmablefull-scaleranges •Digital-outputof3-axismagnetometer•On-chiptemperaturesensor•Dataismeasuredusingon-chipADCsandistransmittedoverI²CorSPIinterfacesTheUEVBmaybeusedbyitse

4、lfutilizingSPIorI²Cserialcommunicationsinterfaces.Alternatively,itmaybe connectedtotheInvenSenseARMControllerBoard(EV_INVARM_D)forconnectivitytoahostcomputerviaUSB interface.TheUEVBwasdesignedtosupportupto9-axisMPUs(MotionProcessingUnits)withabuilt-incompass

5、(MPU- 91xxandMPU-92xx).ConnectinganexternalcompassboardtotheUEVBmayrequiretheusertoconnecttheir third-partycompasstotheUEVBviaitsauxiliaryI2Cbus.TheUEVBispopulatedwithanexternalcompass,andcan accessthemainorauxiliaryI2Cbuslinesprovidedbythesensor(AUX_DAandAU
