3、itcorrectly.Asweknow,peoplefromdifferentcountriesmaintaintheirownculturaltraditions.Thenweshouldlearnaboutthesimilaritiesanddifferencesindifferentculturesifwewanttogetalongwellwithpeoplefromdifferentcountries.Wecanoftenhearaboutsomejokesresultfromculturediversity.Accordingto

6、mChina.AsChinese,wewereinculcatedthatself-sacrificeputsthebenefitofthegroupabovethatoftheindividualbyourteachers.Inotherwords,collectivisttheoryispraisehighlyinChinese.Inaddition,Americansbelievethatcompetitionbringsoutthebestofeachindividual.Bycontrast,cooperationisthoughtm
7、orehighlyinChina.TheConfucian"DoctrineoftheMean"urgesthatindividualsshouldavoidcompetitiontoseekforharmony.WehavetoadmitthatChinesevaluesareinfluencedbytheConfucianismtoagreatextent,includingmodesty,loyalty,kindness,wisdom,filialpietyandsoon.Someconceptsarepositivewhilesomep
