3、lertingsystem.ThiswasachievedusinganAT89C52microcontrollerforthecontroloftheothercomponent,aS1M900-GSMmodulethatcommunicatesbetweenthehomeownerphoneandthePIRsensor(motionsensor).TheinterfacingbetweentheGSMmoduleandthemicrocontrollerwasachievedusinganICcalledMAX232(thisICconv

4、ertsTTLvoltagelevel(+5V)toRS232voltagelevel(plusminus7.5V)viceversa)andthemicrocontrollerwasprogrammedusingassemblylanguage.Attheendofthisprojectwewereabletodesignandconstructadevicethatisnotonlycheapbutefficient.WeovercometheproblemoffalsealarmbyusingaPIRsensor(passiveinfra
