6、;Buckleyetal.,2002;Akinlo,2004providedetailedliteraturesurvey).FDIinflowsinfactrepresentadditionalresourcesacountryneedstoimproveitseconomicperformanceandprovidesbothphysicalcapitalandemploymentpossibilitiesthatmaynotbeavailableinthehostmarket.AsDeGregorio(1992)a

7、rgued‘byincreasingcapitalstock,FDIcanincreasecountry’soutputandproductivitythroughamoreefficientuseofexistingresourcesandbyabsorbingunemployedresources’.However,theeconomicimpactofFDIremainsmorecontentiousinempiricalthanintheoreticalstudies.Whilemanystudiesobserv
