5、ys,differentdesulfurizationtechnologiesareavailabletocontrolSO2emissionincoal-firedpowerstations.Themostwidespreadiswetlimestonefluegasdesulfurization(WLFGD),whichhasundergoneconsiderabledevelopmentoverthepast30yearsintermsofSO2removal,efficiency,reliability,andcosts.Limestoneisgener

6、allyquiteabitcheaperthanlime,makingitmorepopularforlargeFGDsystems.Therefore,wetscrubbers,especiallywetlimestonedesulfurizationscrubbers,arethefront-runningFGDtechnologiesInthisprocess,thefluegasistreatedwithlimestone(calciumcarbonate)slurrynormallyinaspraycolumn.Limestoneismixedwith
