2、reisanurgentneedofPXIExpressinterfacingcomponentstoreducedesigncomplexicity.Inthisthesis,PXIExpressinterfacingcomponentsaredesginedthatfeatureinhighapplicabilityandareuser-friendly.BasedonstudyofPXIExpressspecification,PCIExpressspecificationandCompactPCIExpressspecification,thedesigns
3、chemeofthemainpartofPXIExpressinterfacingcomponents,PCIExpressinterface,isproposedbyevaluatingfourcandidates.TheselectedschemeadoptshighperformanceFPGAwithembededPCIExpresshardIPcoretoachievePCIExpressinterface.BasedontheavailableFPGAswithrequiredfeatures,thelowcostCycloneIVGX-familyFP
4、GAischosenastheinterfacechip.InordertoachievereusabilityandreducingthedifficultyofintegratingtheinterfacingcomponentsintoPXIExpressperipheralmodules,theQsysdesignflowandthenetworkonchipsystemarchitectureareintroducedintoFPGAlogicdesign.WiththeQsysdesignflow,thehierarchicalandstandardiz
5、eFPGAlogicencapsulationbecomespossible,thereforethehighlyreusableFPGAlogicoftheinterfacingcomponentscanbeacomplished.WithQsysflowaseriesofinterfacinglogicsubsystemsaimmingatvariousapplicaationsareproposed.AndallrelatedIPcoredesignarepresented.Inordertoletsecondarydevelopersimplyintegra
6、tetheinterfacingcomponentswiththeirfunction-specificFPGAlogicwithoutknowingtheAvalonbus,alogictemplateispresentedinthethesis.Inordertoverifythefunctionandperformanceoftheinterfacingcomponents,andfurtherinspecttheadvantagesofthereusabledesignflow,aPXIExpressADmoduleisdesignedandachieved
