2、romesofmyelodysplasticsyndromes(MDS),andtostudytherelationshipofRIZ1andID4genemethylationindifferentTCMsyndromesofMDS.MethodTheprognosticscoresfor35patientswerecalculatedusingtheInternationalPrognosticScoringSystem(IPSS),themethylationstatusofRIZ1andID4genepromoterinbonemarrowmon

3、onuclearcellsof35MDSpatientsand15patientswithbenignhematologicaldiseaseswasdetectedbymethylationspecificpolymerasechainreaction(MS-PCR).Result(1)TherewasasignificantcorrelationbetweentraditionalChinesemedicalsyndromesandIPSSprognosticscores(P<0.001,R=0.596).Patientswithstasistoxi

4、nprevalencehadworseprognosisthanpatientswithspleenandkidneydeficiency.(2)TheRIZ1andID4geneswereallcompletelyunmethylatedinbonemarrowsamplesfrompatientswithbenignhematologicaldiseasesascontrol.RIZ1andID4genemethylationwasfoundin15and12casesof35MDSrespectively,whichwerehigherthanth

5、atinthecontrolgroup(P=0.006vsP=0.01).(3)DifferentdegreesofRIZ1genemethylationwasfoundindifferenttypesofMDS,buttherewerenosignificantdifferencesamangthem.(4)ThepositiverateofID4geneinpatientswithstasistoxinprevalencewasmuchhigherthanthatwithvitalqideficiency,therewassignificantdif

6、ferencebetweenthetwogroup(P=0.011).Patientswithmarrowblastratiobeyond5%,aswellashigherriskIPSSsubgroupsbothexhibitedahigherfrequencyofID4methylationthanthatwithmarrowblastratiounder5%andlowerriskIPSSsubgroupsrespectively(P=0.034vsP=0.030).(5)ThecoveragerateofRIZ1andID4genemathyla

7、tionwas57.1%(20/25),thepositiverateofbothRIZ1andID4genemathylationwas20%(7/35).ConclusionTheIPSSprognosticscoresarerelativefactorsofTCMsyndromesofMDS.SincetheincidenceofRIZ1methylationwasnotstatisticallydifferentindifferenttraditionalChinesemedicalsyndromesofMDS,itissuggestedthat
