1、摘要有关儒学与中国古代科技发展之问的关系是学术界讨论极其热烈的话题。笔者并不否¨＼李约瑟对道家文化与中国科技发展之间关系的观点中的合理部分，但对于儒家文化，则有重新讨论的必要。本文以经学的早期发展为基本线索，结合儒家经典的基本内容和郑玄的注经成就，从经学与经学家的角度，分析了经学家对经书中自然知识的态度和处理方式。笔者通过对经学典籍中A然知识的归类和概述，揭示了该部分知识在经书中的地位及其对经学家治经的影响。从先秦到汉代，儒家对自然的态度有一个逐渐发展与变化的过程，伴随着董仲舒对自然现象与规律的有意利用和汉代经学的空前繁荣，体现经学家和科技关系的重要途径和手段——

2、对经书中自然知识的训诂，也有了长足的进展，并对后世产生__r深远的影响。无论是从经学注疏的方式、经学家群体还是对郑玄的重点分析，都表明了经学家对经书中的自然知识持一种既不回避，也非重视的正视态度。在文章的最后，探讨了经学家的这种思路对中国古代科技发展所产生的影响，以及清代的“回归汉学”潮流与这种思路的关系。笔者强调指出，经学家的这种-思路与态度为清代以前的科技发展创造了较为宽松的环境，但清代学者将I_!=I然币：t．技和治经活动紧密结合起来的风气，实乃中国科技发展的悲剧所在。AbstractsTherelationshipbetweenConfucianisman
