1、浙；J：，：学硕+{：学位论文摘要外语教学的主要目的在于培养学生的交际能力，而语用能力则是交际能力的重要组成部分。长期以来，我国的外语教学将重心放在语言形式和结构上，忽略了培养学生实际运用外语的能力。近些年，国内许多语言研究者及英语教师已认识到这一弊端，并开始关注中国学生英语语用能力的现状和发展。有学者通过对比研究发现学生的语用能力并未随其语言水平的提高而增强。然而，这些研究普遍将大学英语专业学生或非英语专业本科生作为其考察对象，少有人关注高职院校学生的语用能力；此外，这些研究多以学生所在年级而非通过统一的水平测试来判断其语言水平。鉴于以上几点，本研究以浙江旅游学院两个平行班及两个自

2、然班的一年级学生作为考察对象，以选择型话语填充测试和大学英语三级考试作为研究工具衡量其语用能力及语言水平，描述高职一年级学生的语用能力现状，探究学生语言水平及其语用能力之间的关系。研究结果表明，总体而言，高职一年级学生的语用能力亟待提高，四个班的语用水平参差不齐；语言水平相近的两个平行班学生，其语用能力也在同一水平，而语用水平较高的两个自然班学生，其语用能力并非都显著高于两个平行班；学生的语言水平与语用能力呈低水平显著正相关。本研究还通过与学生和老师的访谈进一步发掘造成学生语用失误现象的原因及影响学生语用能力发展的因素，旨在为改善高职院校英语教学提供实证依据。关键词：语用能力，语言水
